This haiku's based on
real events. Names were changed to
protect the innocent.
Sing, dance, make love,
jump for joy, frolic, smile, laugh,
stop and smell the roses.
Dearest Mitt,
I'm not into your dick, so, please,
lay off my vagina.
I love dreaming the
dreams that I've dreamt over
and over again.
Nothing in this world
matters except for the things
that really matter.
Living, "I love you"
is more important than just
saying, "I love you".
I was more a
Sweet Valley High girl than a
Babysitter's Club girl.
Maybe we're not
approaching our death, but
approaching another life.
Mirror, mirror you
don't have to tell me. I'm the
coolest of all ladies!
We walk through this world
never aware of the wake
we leave in our stead.
I'd roam the earth and
skies for you. For they mean
nothing next to your love.
Live your life as if
each day were a work of art.
A work in progress.
Smell the smells, taste the
tastes, see the sights. Today is
another new day.
The crows nest near my
bedroom. We rest together.
We wake together.
Never hang your head in
the shadow of others. Your
own is dark enough.
There's no love other
than this one because I could
love no other you
I pushed a baby
out of my vagina and
it was beautiful!
I like to keep my
kids in their place; dirty, naked,
loud and happy.
The candied apple
looked beautiful and grotesque
smushed into the ground.
Thinking about the
sun and how it travels so
far to meet my face.
The heat goes into
my skin, melts my mind a bit,
comes back out my pores.
I wait, somewhat
impatiently, while the stork flies
by me yet again.
The train sounds each day
and night reminding me it's
a new day and night.
Admiring the
blue bird. She never worries
when her eggs will hatch.
Earth fades into the
trees that fade into the sky
who gives way to sun.
We make a good team.
The most unlikely of friends.
The snake and charmer.
Here's a fabulous
haiku for you, but sadly,
now it is all done.
Sometimes my writing
haiku is the only way
to say, "I love you."
And the fairy godmother
said, "Girl, get your shit together.
You're a mess!"
It's true you can't win
every race, but you can sure
in the hell try, right?
"Find your talents and
use them. It's doing nothing
that's the enemy."
I don't always fly
straight, but, you bet your ass,
I get where I'm going.
I want to run away,
but everywhere I go
my heart still follows.
We use the word lost
when soemthing's gone, but once there
it's never forgot.
I love hearing the
crackle of embers when she
smokes her cigarette.
Tell me all your stories.
I want to hear them.
Every last one of them.
